The Milwaukee Bucks vs Atlanta Hawks matchup at T-Mobile Arena was the first semifinal of the 2024 NBA Cup. The teams that clashed in the 2021 Eastern Conference finals fought for another spot in a championship situation in a game that had plenty of emotions from start to finish.

The Milwaukee Bucks, led by Giannis Antetokounmpo, Damian Lillard and Khris Middleton, tried to advance to the NBA Cup final against a dangerous Hawks squad led by Trae Young, who was keen to take revenge on Milwaukee following their elimination in the 2021 ECF.

Antetokounmpo and Lillard played at a high level, leading the Bucks to a 110-102 win despite a strong effort by Trae Young. The first semifinal of the second edition of the NBA Cup presented a big show, and the Bucks showed that they aren't the same team that struggled in the first weeks of the season.
