The Milwaukee Bucks will be on the road to face the New York Knicks on Friday. Milwaukee finally snapped its losing streak at six after a much-needed 123-100 win against the Utah Jazz on Thursday. The 2021 champions have struggled to start the season and are just 2-6 after eight games.
The Knicks haven’t fared great either and hold a 3-5 record. They are on a two-game losing streak and are returning home after a four-game road trip. New York is coming off a 121-116 loss to the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday.
Milwaukee’s poor start means the team is placed 13th in the Eastern Conference standings. New York, meanwhile, is sixth. Both teams have championship aspirations and need to get their seasons back on track at the earliest.
The Bucks vs. Knicks matchup is scheduled to tip off at 7:30 p.m. EST at Madison Square Garden. The game will air locally on MSG and FanDuel Sports Network - Wisconsin. Fans can also opt to stream it live on NBA League Pass and fuboTV.

Milwaukee Bucks vs. New York Knicks: Key matchups
Giannis Antetokounmpo vs. Karl-Anthony Towns
These are two of the best big men in the league. While Antetokounmpo plays as a power forward, he can guard all five positions, which qualifies him as a big man. The "Greek Freak" is averaging 31.0 points, 12.9 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game and is coming off of a 31-point and 16-rebound double-double on Thursday. He should be a key deciding factor in Friday’s contest.
The Knicks brought in Towns to form a Big Three alongside Jalen Brunson and Mikal Bridges. KAT is expected to man the center role until Mitchell Robinson returns from his injury. Towns averages 23.1 points, 13.0 rebounds and 1.0 blocks to start the season.
Whoever between Giannis Antetokounmpo and Karl-Anthony Towns has a dominating game should lead their team to victory.
Damian Lillard vs. Jalen Brunson
After an off night against the Memphis Grizzlies on Oct. 31 where Damian Lillard scored just four points on 1 of 12 shooting, he has come back strong with games of 41, 36 and 34 points. Jalen Brunson has been great for New York as well with averages of 25.3 points and 5.7 assists. He is shooting a career-high 46.3% from the 3-point line on 5.9 attempts per game.
Expect the two point guards to come out strong on Friday.
