The Milwaukee Bucks will look to win the season series against the Toronto Raptors on Monday. Milwaukee, which won 99-85 on Nov. 12, will again rely on Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard in the rematch. The Bucks hope to snap a two-game losing streak when they visit Canada.
Meanwhile, the struggling Raptors will try to bounce back with a win after losing 106-97 to the injury-plagued Orlando Magic on Thursday. Toronto still has RJ Barrett dealing with an injury but is otherwise mostly healthy ahead of their clash with the Bucks. If Barrett is not cleared to play, Scottie Barnes, Immanuel Quickley and Kelly Olynyk will lead the Raptors.

Milwaukee Bucks vs Toronto Raptors: Key matchups
Giannis Antetokounmpo vs Scottie Barnes or Kelly Olynyk
Scottie Barnes sat out the first Bucks-Raptors meeting. With Barnes and Olynyk out in that matchup, Toronto put Jakob Poeltl or Ochai Agbaji on Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Greek Freak took advantage of whoever guarded him to lead his team to victory.
Barnes will start, so he gets the first crack at slowing down the two-time MVP. How the former Rookie of the Year winner will hold up on defense could determine the Raptors’ upset bid.
Damian Lillard vs Immanuel Quickley
Both Damian Lillard and Immanuel Quickley were out in the first Bucks-Raptors encounter. On Monday, the two will renew acquaintances in the rematch. Lillard has had trouble guarding speedy point guards, an issue that could show when he faces the cat-quick former New York Knicks playmaker.
Quickley is averaging 16.0 points and 13.0 assists per game in January. The Raptors try to shake off Andre Jackson Jr. from their point guard and test Lillard on defense.
Jakob Poeltl vs Brook Lopez
Jakob Poeltl versus Brook Lopez isn’t the sexiest or the most entertaining matchup on Monday. But they have an underrated impact on their respective team’s performance, so how they do against each other will be interesting.
Poeltl will not shoot from the outside but will hustle for his points around the basket. He is an excellent rebounder who relishes jostling around in the paint. Lopez will try to drag him out to the perimeter on offense to unclog the paint.
