#2 Timberwolves demanding a high-price for Robert Covington
Over the past few weeks, the Los Angeles Lakers, LA Clippers, Dallas Mavericks, Houston Rockets, and Philadelphia 76ers have all emerged as suitors for Robert Covington. As a 3-and-D wing, Covington offers plenty of value to contending teams, and Ric Bucher of Bleacher Report is reporting that the Timberwolves are demanding at least two first-round picks for the forward:
"The Minnesota Timberwolves, several league executives say, are looking for the lofty price tag of two first-round picks for versatile forward Robert Covington."

After spending more than four years with the Sixers, Covington was traded to the Timberwolves back in November 2018 as part of the deal that sent Jimmy Butler to Philadelphia. Covington has featured 69 times for Minnesota, averaging 13.3 points, 5.9 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 1.8 steals, and 1.0 blocks in 31.1 minutes per contest. He has also shot 35 percent from beyond the arc and is owed $25 million over the next two seasons.
