Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Houston Rockets: NBA 2K25 Summer League Rosters
Minnesota Timberwolves Summer League roster
Philadelphia guard Jeff Dowtin Jr.’s free throws with five seconds remaining prevented the Timberwolves from staying undefeated in the Summer League. Despite the loss to the 76ers, Minnesota’s coaching staff has to be elated with the play of Terrence Shannon Jr. and Rob Dillingham. When Shannon struggled a bit versus Philly, Leonard Miller stepped up to nearly lead the Timberwolves to the win.
All three will again be at the forefront of Minnesota’s goal of getting back to the win column.

Houston Rockets Summer League roster
The Rockets were just as impressive in Las Vegas behind rookie Reed Sheppard and sophomore Cam Whitmore. Only their worst quarter in the competition dropped them to their first defeat in three games. Houston was embarrassed 24-9 in the final quarter in the loss to the Pistons.
Sheppard and Whitmore should be raring to erase that stinging loss when they take on the highly-touted Timberwolves

Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Houston Rockets: Prediction
The Timberwolves and Rockets are two of the most explosive teams in the NBA 2K25 Summer League. A mouthwatering matchup between former Kentucky teammates Reed Sheppard and Rob Dillingham will be the biggest sub-headline in the game.
Terrence Shannon Jr. and Cam Whitmore could also steal the Thunder from the two former Wildcats on Thursday.
Minnesota has slightly been more consistent than Houston and might have been 3-0 in the Summer League if not for Jeff Dowtin’s clutch free throws. The Timberwolves could eke out a win against the Rockets in their matchup.
