The Minnesota Timberwolves will be on the road to face the LA Clippers on Wednesday. The Timberwolves, despite having the far better squad on paper, are currently placed 11th in the West with a 10-10 record. The Clippers, on the other hand, despite injuries to key players, are fifth in the same conference with a 14-9 record.
LA comes into the game on a two-game win streak and has won eight of its past 10 games. While Minnesota has won two games on the trot as well, it is just 4-6 in the past 10.
The T’Wolves are coming off of a 109-80 win over the LA Lakers on Monday, while the Clippers defeated the Portland Trail Blazers 127-105 in an Emirates NBA Cup game on Tuesday.
The two teams have already faced each other once this season on Friday. The Timberwolves narrowly won that game 93-92 behind Anthony Edwards’ 21 points and two steals. James Harden led LA with 20 points, 11 assists and five steals.

Minnesota Timberwolves vs LA Clippers: Key players
Anthony Edwards
Last season, Anthony Edwards cemented himself as one of the best players in the league after leading Minnesota to the Western Conference finals. While his numbers have improved this season, those haven’t translated into wins for the team.
The Timberwolves were regarded as one of the best teams at the start of the season after trading for Julius Randle and Donte DiVincenzo. They face the surprisingly good LA Clippers on Wednesday and Edwards need to be at his best to get a win.
James Harden
James Harden may no longer be the player he used to be during his MVP seasons. He has, however, modified his game enough to help his team win, even with the big gap left by Kawhi Leonard’s absence and Paul George leaving in free agency. If Harden continues his stellar play, there’s no reason why the Clippers cannot beat Minnesota on Wednesday.
