
Myles Christian Turner is an American professional basketball player, and as of May 2025, he plays for the Indiana Pacers as their center/power forward. He was selected by the Pacers as the 11th overall pick in the first round of the 2015 NBA Draft. He has been with the Indiana Pacers ever since he was drafted. Turner was the NBA Blocks Leader in 2019 and 2021. Turner began playing basketball during his high school days, as Turner played AAU basketball for the Texas Select team and attended Central Junior High School. In 2024, Turner became the franchise leader in the Total Number of blocks made by a player, surpassing the former Indiana Pacers' Jermaine O'Neal.
Turner attended the University of Texas at Austin in the NCAA Division I and played for the Texas Longhorns men's basketball team. He declared for the 2015 NBA Draft, foregoing his remaining college eligibility after the freshman season. He averaged 10.1 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 2.6 blocks per game and earned the 2015 Big 12 Freshman of the Year honors. In the 2024\25 regular season, Turner played 72 games and averaged 15.6 points to go along with 6.5 rebounds and 2 blocks per game, He also shot 39.6% from behind the arc for the season.
