Naz Reid is a reigning "Sixth Man of the Year" of the NBA. He was born on August 26, 1999, in Asbury Park, New Jersey. He stands tall 6 feet 9 inches and weighs 264 lbs and plays in the center position. Reid attended Roselle Catholic High School and was invited to play the 2018 McDonald's All-American Boys game.

Naz Reid played for LSU in the college years where he took them to the sweet-16 in the NCAA tournament. He was projected to be a lottery pick but due to a bad NBA combine and high fat percentage, Naz Reid went undrafted in the 2019 NBA Draft. Minnesota Timberwolves soon signed him on a two-way contract and he played for the Iowa Wolves in G-league.

Naz impressed everybody, averaging 18.4 points per game and 9.9 rebounds per game in the 16 matches he played for the Iowa Wolves. He got a chance to play his entire rookie year with the Minnesota Timberwolves after an injury to Karl-Anthony-Townsand and never looked back after that.

Naz was then signed on a rookie contract, voiding his two-way contract with the Wolves. Naz is a center with guard-like skills, ball control, and speed which helps him outpace the centers to finish at the rim. He can also be a good pick-and-roll option for the Wolves. He can also catch and shoot 3-pointers if needed and is shooting an impressive 40% beyond the arc.
