Unlike some positions in the NBA where there seems to be a lack of world-class stars, the point-guard position is stacked with superstars in both the Eastern and Western Conferences. In addition to there being a high number of talented point-guards throughout the league, a few of them also seem to be available for trade.
Most notably is Kemba Walker, who has been one of the best performers in the NBA this season. Walker is a free agent in the summer of 2019, and this means that the Lakers have the possibility of trading for him in the coming months.

The Hornets man offers much more on offense than Ball, and he is also able to take games over, such as when he recently dropped 60 points on the 76ers. The 28-year-old is an established All-Star who is currently in his prime, and the Lakers would substantially improve by replacing Lonzo Ball with Kemba Walker.
