The league turned upside down in the off-season when All-Star DeMarcus Cousins chose to sign a one-year deal with the defending champs, the Golden State Warriors. The 28-year old's season came to an early end when he suffered a torn Achilles tendon in his left leg in the final seconds of the game against the Houston Rockets. He signed a one year, $5.3 million deal with the Warriors in the offseason.
