#3 Battle of the 3s

In the game preview, we mentioned the Raptors needed to make their three-point attempts tonight, against Golden State. The Warriors are deadly from behind the arc and, even with Stephen Curry out of the lineup, Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson are dangerous from not just long range, but unlimited long range.

Durant hit two three-pointers from well behind the three-point line, in this game. If an opponent, of the Warriors, is not on their long-range game, every three pointer missed is exaggerated, by the Warriors ability from behind the arc. The Warriors overall were 11/30 from long range for 36.7%.

The Raptors, at one point of the game, were 9/19 from long range and ended the game 15/38 for 39.5 %. The Raptors' long-range shooting was good and most importantly their percentage, from distance, did not hurt them in this game. Leonard and Green were each 3/6 from behind the arc. Pascal Siakam was 3/4 and Delon Wright was 2/2 from long distance.
The Raptors and Golden State will meet again on December 12th, 2018. This time Golden State will have the home court advantage.
