Even though the Thunder's bench is one of the best, if not the best, in the league, last night, they got outperformed by the Nuggets' bench. Dennis Schroder, who is one of the frontrunners for the Sixth Man of the Year trophy only had 11 points on 3-for-13 shooting.

Monte Morris led the Nuggets' bench scoring with 14 points on 6-for-11 shooting and provided much-needed fire-power that allowed the starters to go the bench and get some air. Nick Young also had 6 points in just above 8 minutes of action and he nailed two three-pointers at a very crucial period.

The Thunder bench's dismal performance had a huge impact on the outcome and for the Thunder to succeed against tough opponents, it is imperative that the bench performs better.
