#3 Draymond's ordinary numbers after return from injury are worrisome

Draymond Green had been 1 of 16 from deep since making two on Halloween.

Against the Mavericks, Draymond Green had 14 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists in 35 minutes of action. He shot 6-of-11 from the field.

Before this game, he had scored a total of just 27 points in the previous six matchups leading up to this one, before which he had been out for 11 games due to injury. The last time he scored in double digits was in October against the Pelicans and is averaging a dismal 6.9 points per game this season so far.

The team is cognizant of the fact he is yet to be comfortable shooting in a team that feeds off of it.

"He's talked about it. It's no secret he wants to shoot the ball better," Curry said. "It gives us a nice little energy boost when he just shoots with confidence, no matter if he makes or misses really."
