He started the proceedings with a corner three-pointer to give the Pelicans an early three-point lead. With 1:30 remaining in the first quarter, Holiday knocked down an open three-pointer to extend the Pelicans' lead to 10 points.

He was red hot from the field and went 14-for-22, including an eye-catching 6-for-10 from long range. Even though he turned the ball over nine times in the game, his efficient shooting was enough to lead the Pelicans past the Pistons.
