Thompson took 24 attempts from beyond the arc and netted 14 of those with a 3-point field-goal percentage of 58.3. The hapless Bulls had no answer to Klay as he was red-hot from distance.
In the third quarter, Klay knocked down a catch-and-shoot three off Curry's assist to equal his record of 13 treys in a single game. His final three-pointer came with 4:55 left in the third quarter, thanks to an assist from Kevin Durant and we have a new record of 14 threes in an NBA game.
Klay finished the game with 52 points in just 27 minutes, to go along with five rebounds and a steal. He did not play the fourth quarter as the Warriors were already up by over 30 points once his carnage was completed.
