He scored 40 points, to go along with eight rebounds and eight assists and the New Orleans Pelicans beat the Denver Nuggets, 125-115.

Davis finished the night shooting 10-20 from the floor, with a field-goal percentage of 50.0. The Nuggets' defenders had no answer for 'The Brow' as he kept dominating them in the paint. He collected as many as 21 free throw attempts and nailed 20 of them.

Anthony Davis had 12 points in the first quarter and the Pelicans clinched it 37-35. Although he had only had 10 field goals, he still ended up with 40 points, thanks to his dominance in the paint.
