#2 Eric Paschall - Golden State Warriors
The Golden State Warriors seem to be getting worse with each passing game, but Eric Paschall has continued to impress amid difficult circumstances.
The 23-year-old's best performance of Week 5 came against the Memphis Grizzlies as he recorded 17 points in just 24 minutes. Paschall also recorded the first double-double of his career during Monday's defeat to the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Despite starting the campaign on the bench, Paschall has recorded more points than any other player for Steve Kerr's team. He is currently averaging 16.5 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 1.5 assists in 31.2 minutes per game.
Paschall's performances so far this season have been among the few positives for the Warriors, and he looks like he can play a key part in the organization's future.
#1 Ja Morant - Memphis Grizzlies
The Memphis Grizzlies' record now stands at 5-11, but Ja Morant has impressed big time for the Western Conference strugglers.
Morant started his week with a 20-point performance against the Golden State Warriors, before putting on a show against the Los Angeles Lakers. While the Grizzlies somehow slipped to a 108-109 defeat, Morant finished with 26 points on 10-16 shooting.
The 20-year-old's speed and agility was at times too much for the Lakers' defense to handle, and the point guard also finished with six assists and five steals.
Morant followed up his best performance of the season by scoring 19 points in 30 minutes during Memphis' defeat to the Indiana Pacers, and he leads rookies in both points (19.1) and assists (6.3).
Zion Williamson may be closing on a return, but Morant remains the front-runner for Rookie of the Year as we head into Week 6 of the season.
