This was James Harden at his best. The Rockets superstar ended the match with 40 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists. He also improved his efficiency compared to his previous performances, and went 9/9 from the free throw line.

In what was a difficult Sunday afternoon match for Houston, Harden showcased his abilities once again and led his team to an important win against a Western Conference rival. As Russell Westbrook was once again not at his best in this match, Harden had to take over the team from the very first quarter, especially on the offensive side

Harden continues his historical season with this performance, as this was his 17th 40+ performance in the current season - and we are only in February. The fact that he was positioned more as a center recently also helped him dominate more in the paint, and it seems to have been working so far.

The New Orleans Pelicans played a good game this Sunday, but Harden's performance was just too much for the young stars from Louisiana to contain.
