Minnesota Timberwolves v Denver Nuggets
Minnesota Timberwolves v Denver Nuggets

The Denver Nuggets lost against the Detroit Pistons this Sunday, but it was surely not because of Nikola Jokic's lack of effort. The Serbian All-Star player finished the match with 39 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds and he was an extremely important player for Denver on both sides of the floor.

It was Jokic's 10th triple-double of the season. Not even Andre Drummond managed to stop Jokic's dominance in the paint, even though he tried to do it the whole game. Jokic's mid-range jumper was unbeatable in this clash.

The performance did not bring the win for his team, but it shouldn't be ignored or downplayed. After this triple-double, Jokic is 9th on the all-time list, just five away from Fat Lever.

This performance from Jokic came at the end of a difficult road schedule for the Nuggets, filled with games against the Bucks or Utah Jazz. For this kind of display to come at the end of this stretch is even more impressive from the Serbian.
