The latest NBA 2K23 patch notes reveal everything that has come to the popular video game with the new update. The update was released on Monday, November 28, and has brought several gameplay changes.

2K Sports is getting everything ready for NBA 2K23 Season 3, which will launch on Friday, December 2. Mike Wang, Gameplay Director of NBA 2K, shared notes for patch 1.08 on Reddit, revealing all that's been added to the video game.

It's important to note that these NBA 2K23 patch notes only affect new generation consoles. Patch notes for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will be released later in the week.

NBA 2K23 patch notes reveal new gameplay changes

With the latest patch, the NBA 2K23 development team has addressed an issue that was preventing custom difficulty levels from functioning properly. Players can expect more putbacks from now on, as their frequency has been increased.

2K Sports has disabled adrenaline boost usage when sprinting off-ball on offense, which will help players retain their adrenaline. Additionally, the new patch has adjusted the logic for body-up animations.

2K has also improved the performance and stability in "The City" and fixed the issue which would caused players to randomly disconnect.

When it comes to Pro-Am, players in the squad will properly leave this game mode together in Walk-On games. Additionally, visual improvements have been made to the Pro-Am menu.

The MyCareer mode has also been affected by the 1.08 NBA 2K23 patch. This mode hasn't received any new content with the update, but 2K Sports has fixed many issues, such as incorrect quest tracking and issues with the XP progress bar.

The update has added new looks for several active players, including Paolo Banchero, Jimmy Butler and Nic Claxton. Historic players Maurice Cheeks and Jayson Williams have also been updated.


NBA 2K23 MyTeam changes

MyTeam has received numerous changes with the 1.08 update. 2K Sports has made many improvements to all the modes and menus in this game mode and has fixed many bugs.

Position Lock has been disabled in Unlimited, GameDay and Tournament modes due to anti-competitive trends. The lock is still active in other game modes.

The Evolution menu now displays all badges in the upgrades list and players can replace badges on player cards without needing the higher tier of the badge.

When it comes to bug fixes, 2K Sports fixed an issue with camera tracking in all Triple Threat modes. Furthermore, the development team has addressed freezing issues, as well as the issue with the Agenda Tracker not properly displaying the progress.
