NBA 2K23 Season 3 Limited Week 5 Event: Everything you need to know

NBA 2K23 has added a range of new player packs, updates, and events in lieu of the holiday season.

The 'New Year’s Resolution cards' have also been added. This includes a 95-rated version of David Thompson. Additionally, the 'Holiday event' set gives gamers access to 15 player-based rewards along with a 'Galaxy Opal' Bam Adebayo card. The center position is often problematic for most NBA 2K23 squads. The 97-rated Adebayo would be a huge addition to these teams.

Of course, this is an addition to the 'Tis the Season' and 'Fireworks' packs. It will give gamers access to the Galaxy Opal versions of Michael Jordan and Stephen Curry, respectively. The accompanying challenges can also be used to gain a free player pack.

The Season 3 Limited Week 5 event will give gamers the opportunity to gain another 95-rated legend: Gerald Wallace.

NBA 2K23 Season 3 Limited Week 5 Rules and Rewards

Like every week, NBA 2K23’s Season 3 Limited Week 5 event is also available from Friday to Sunday. Gamers need to complete the event in order to earn the reward, which is a 95-rated legend.

Gerald “Crash” Wallace began his NBA career with the Sacramento Kings in 2002. He also played for several other teams, including the Charlotte Bobcats, Portland Trail Blazers, Brooklyn Nets, and Boston Celtics. He was known for his athleticism and defensive skills. His nickname came from his ability to make hard cuts to the basket and crash the boards.

Every week, gamers are required to take part in the Limited event using specific player cards. This week, the following rules are applicable:

• · You must use 6 Western Conference Players
• · You may use up to 2 Pink Diamonds
• · You may use up to 2 Diamonds
• · No Free Agent cards allowed

Once the event is complete, gamers will receive a 11-player option pack that features Gerald Wallace as the highest-rated card. Former New York Knicks guard Allan Houston, DeMarcus Cousins, Brooke Lopez, and Rex Chapman were also given 95 ratings.

Other notable players are also available, including Dwayne Wade and Tom Gugliotta. There are also two surprise inclusions. Apart from the 95-rated players, all of the other cards in the pack have been given ratings of 93. Of course, the two mystery cards might end up being rated 95. Therefore, gamers should rush to complete the event.

If the rosters are already done and the above players are not direct upgrades, there is always the option to sell player cards on the NBA 2K23 Marketplace. This will allow gamers to earn some extra VC (Virtual Currency).
