NBA All International Team

NBA is global, what just started out as a domestic league in the New York City (which now belongs to Jeremy Lin) as BAA has now gone on to become one of the most powerful, richest league in the world.

Being am international doesn’t hurt, because you get to have some of the best ballers in the world, Nowitzki (Germany) an example, and if you count him as a winner of last NBA, then 5 0f the previous 6 Championships have gone to international players.

The 2009–10 season season opened with a record of 83 international players on the opening night rosters, tying the record set in the 2006–07 season.

So here’s a team consisting of some of the most happening internationals NBA players right now.

Clockwise : Manu Ginobili, Dirk Nowitzki, Tim Duncan, Luol Deng & Tony Parker

STARTERS

PG, Tony Parker (France)

Tony Parker should be called le blur, he is that fast. A couple of games ago, OKC star Russell Westbrook tried to disrespect Tony (some trash talk and a block), Tony Parker ended the game with 42 points, 9 assists, 2 steals and became the all-time franchise assists leader for the San Antonio Spurs, also making the All Star Game next week, nothing else.

SG, Manu Ginobili (Argentina)

Manu Ginobili might have missed most games this season due to injuries, but you still can’t rule him out. He’s Manu Ginobili, he’s uncontrollable on the floor. Coming off the bench doesn’t hurt his ego—he lets you decide what kind of player he is when you watch him. Or maybe he’ll let three NBA Championships, two Olympic Medals (gold and bronze) and a Euroleague Title talk for him. And for the record, Ginobili was the number 1 player in the according to NBA Power Rankings through the first 4 games.

SF, Luol Deng (Britain)

If Derrick Rose is Michael Jordan, then Luol Deng is Scottie Pippen.Deng was the Bulls’ second leading scorer during the 2011 playoffs. Deng is also selected as a reserve for the 2012 NBA All-Star Game’s Eastern Conference team, joining teammate Derrick Rose, who was voted in as a starter. This was the first time since 1997 (when both Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen made the team) that the Chicago Bulls had two All-Stars in the All-Star Game.

PF, Dirk Nowitzki (Germany)

Swish, Swish, Swish.

That’s not anybody killing someone with knives, that’s Dirk Nowitzki nailing the baskets.

Although how tough-to-spell might be his name, Dirk is one of a kind, I mean really, how many players can really hit a shot with the defenders hand on their face, only one that’s umm D…I..Dirk yeah, Dirk, so Dirk you did it again.

C, Tim Duncan (Virgin Islands)

Every year there are rumors of Timmy getting old, Parker getting traded, as Ginobili getting injured but somehow the Big International three just stays #winning although Tim stats might have gone down recent years but still he is Tim Duncan, and he’s big, he can make the big shot.

BENCH

Young Forever

PG, Steve Nash (Canada)

He’s 38 and he is still the NBA assist leader, well that says it all.

PG, Jose Calderon (Spain)

Although he took his time in NBA, I think this is the season you start to see the real Jose.

SG, Rudy Fernandez (Spain)

Rudy Fernandez has the X-factor, he can close out games. In few years, he could be the best international player in the NBA, just wait and watch.

SF, Danilo Ganillari (Italy)

After being the prince of the most happening city of USA i.e New York and wanted by Kim Kardashian first, he was traded to a less happening Denver without the attention he was getting before. But he still plays well and is dangerous on any given night.

SF, Nicolas Batum (France)

Nicolas Batum can be the NBA sixth man this year, he puts up solid numbers in his time and can make the big shot anytime.

PF, Pau Gasol (Spain)

No matter how many mental breakdowns Pau has, or how many rumors are afloat of trading him, still no NBA star wants to match up with him any night, given a choice.

C, Andrew Bogut (Australia)

There was real fight between the reserves centers – Nene, Horford & Bargani are real great centers, but Bogut carry’s the Bucks on his shoulders, he like’s Tim Duncan for the bucks, he blocks, rebounds and scores what else do you need.

HONORABLE MENTIONS

Andrea Bargani C (Italy)

Al Horford C(Dominican Republic)

Nene C (Brazil)

Carlos Delfino G (Argentina)

I tried to make the team as good as possible, I took the stats into consideration, plus my own view on the players, I still think I might have missed some and I am happy to take your suggestions, and, yes Ricky Rubio still hasn’t finish a single season yet, and Jeremy Lin is American.
