Flop - James Harden

Harden had an off-shooting night

James Harden is the runaway leader for the NBA MVP award at this moment. The reigning MVP is having an all-time great scoring year. Harden is averaging an unbelievable 36.6 points per game for the season.

But Harden had a disappointing outing in this All-Star game. He finished with 12 points on 4-13 shooting from the field. All his 13 field goal attempts were from the 3PT line.

Harden didn't have the same scoring touch that he usually displays playing for the Houston Rockets. Harden and the Rockets will play their first game after the All-Star break at the Staples Center against the Los Angeles Lakers.

Hit - Giannis Antetokounmpo

Giannis was dominating as usual

Giannis Antetokounmpo looked like the All-Star MVP favourite after he got off to a dominating start and his team had built a sizable lead. But Team LeBron fought back to win this match and that denied Giannis the MVP award.

Giannis finished the match with a game-high 38 points on 17-23 shooting from the field. He also had 11 rebounds and 5 assists to cap off an impressive performance.

Giannis is also a candidate for the regular season MVP award with his Bucks currently having the best record in the entire NBA.
