#5. Quin Snyder (Last week’s ranking: Unranked)

The Atlanta Hawks have had their share of ups and downs this season, but Quin Snyder has managed to unlock the potential of his players. Notably, Jalen Johnson and Dyson Daniels have been enjoying breakout campaigns under his leadership.

Despite the team’s inconsistencies, the Hawks are fifth in the Eastern Conference after a perfect 3-0 record in Week 10. This stretch included an incredible 21-point comeback against the Chicago Bulls, where they erupted for 50 points in the fourth quarter to seal the victory.

#4. Taylor Jenkins (Last week’s ranking: Unranked)

Taylor Jenkins has guided the Memphis Grizzlies to the No. 2 seed in the rugged Western Conference, an impressive feat considering the challenges they’ve faced with injuries.

The Grizzlies went 2-2 in Week 10, including a close loss to the LA Clippers and a blowout defeat against the OKC Thunder while missing key players such as Ja Morant, Marcus Smart, Zach Edey and Santi Aldama.

Memphis ranks fifth in both offensive and defensive rating, resulting in the NBA's fourth-best net rating. Jenkins deserves recognition for keeping the Grizzlies competitive despite their depleted roster, especially in such a demanding conference.

#3. Tom Thibodeau (Last week’s ranking: #5)

Making his second appearance in the rankings this season, Tom Thibodeau rises to No. 3, his highest position yet. The New York Knicks are riding high on a seven-game winning streak, including four victories in Week 10.

The Knicks have the NBA's fifth-best net rating, and Thibodeau has been steadily maximizing the potential of his roster. During Week 10, the team also ranked fifth in true shooting percentage, maintaining their momentum through a demanding schedule.

Now sitting at 22-10 and third in the Eastern Conference, the Knicks are in a strong position to secure home-court advantage for the playoffs.

#2 Mark Daigneault (Last week’s ranking: #2)

Reigning NBA Coach of the Year Mark Daigneault stays at No. 2 but continues to impress. His OKC Thunder extended their winning streak to 11 games and remain the league leaders in both net rating and defensive efficiency.

Even with injuries to players like Chet Holmgren and Alex Caruso, the Thunder have thrived. The return of center Jaylin Williams in Week 10 has only added to their depth, and it’s clear that as the team gets healthier, they’ll become even more formidable under Daigneault’s system

#1 Kenny Atkinson (Last week’s ranking: #1)

Kenny Atkinson maintains his hold on the top spot after guiding the Cleveland Cavaliers to a flawless 2-0 record in Week 10. The Cavs earned decisive wins over the Utah Jazz and Denver Nuggets, teams they were expected to beat, but they delivered with conviction.

This marks Atkinson’s seventh appearance at No. 1 this season. Cleveland continues to boast the NBA's best offense and the second-best net rating, cementing Atkinson as the frontrunner for Coach of the Year as 2024 comes to a close.
