SG 2 - Jrue Holiday (New Orleans Pelicans):

The New Orleans Pelicans have been really topsy turvy this whole season. Expectations were high when they started off the season so well, but injury to their point guard Elfrid Payton exposed their fragile and almost non existent bench. They beat a high flying Oklahoma City Thunder team, 118-114 and would like to continue their form into their next match, which is against the Miami Heat. They have had Anthony Davis to push them from one game to the other, but the other player who has been really influential for this team has been Jrue Holiday.

Jrue this season, has been asked to step into both playmaking and scoring duties, due to injury to their guard, Elfrid Payton. A lack of bench strength has pushed him and he has given great results to the Pelicans. He is scoring more than 20 points per game this season, averaging 9 assists and 4 rebounds too. In the last game, a win over the Thunder, Holiday scored a nice 20 points, along with 10 assists and 5 rebounds as well. We know about his defensive prowess and it showed, with Jrue grabbing 2 steals as well. They will look get a few wins going in a row and face the Heat tomorrow.
