NBA team Dallas Mavericks announced their decision to sign free agent shooting guard Monta Ellis on a three-year contract.
Ellis played for Milwaukee Bucks last season. He averaged 19.2 points to lead the Bucks to the playoffs as the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference, only to be swept 0-4 by the final champion Miami Heat, reports Xinhua.
Earlier this month, the Mavericks recruited Jose Calderon into their squad with a four-year contract.
