Another player that the LA Lakers will be lucky to snag, Trey Murphy, is one of the multiple impressive guards who are part of the 2021 class. Trey Murphy is known for his huge wingspan and is a capable defender who shoots at over 40% from the three-point zone.

Quite a few potential rookies have come under scrutiny for their overall efficiency. However, Trey Murphy III spent the season shooting at over 50% from the field and will be a healthy addition to the roster. Of course, the LA Lakers might also decide to trade players on draft day for potential established players that can improve their rosters. Trey Murphy III is a potential bargain who can be used as an asset as well.

#2 Chris Duarte, Oregon

Another shooting-guard with the potential to be an elite shooter, Oregon’s Chris Duarte is a talented ball handler who is already 24 years old. He is a top shooter who can add immediate quality to the LA Lakers’ roster and considering his age should be available by the time they get to their 22nd overall pick.

Duarte shot at over 42% from the 3-point zone and is a smart defender who is also capable of catching fire on the other end of the court. Duarte might be seen as a player who better fits the LA Lakers’ timeline considering their stars AD and LeBron James’s age.

Adding shooting-guards is probably the biggest task that the LA Lakers have for the coming offseason. Regardless, Tre Mann is another formed potential rookie who can add immediate value to the Lakers’ roster.

He is a combo-guard with a high IQ and passing skills and can prove to be one of the surprise players from the 2021 class.
