Inside the NBA fans found a way to link Donald Trump's viral claim about Haitian immigrants to the show. After the former United States President said that Haitian people were eating pets during Tuesday's presidential debate against Kamala Harris, everybody had something to say about it.
The NBA world seemingly paid close attention to the debate, as Kyle Kuzma laughed at the claim on X/Twitter. Some fans also suggested that the Inside the NBA crew should host the next debate.
This idea opened the door for more jokes, with a fan using one of the most famous references regarding the TNT show.
"'Who’s eating the pets chuckster?” the women in san antonio,'" one fan said, referring to Charles Barkley's infamous comments.

“'Ya wanna know what the White House secretary said to me?' 'Kenny bring me some water?'” another fan joked.
More fans shared their excitement about an imaginary Inside the NBA debate.

NBA legend opens up on Inside the NBA's uncertain future
While several fans rejoiced at the idea of Inside the NBA hosting a presidential debate, others lamented the fact that the show will have its final season (at least on TNT) during the 2024-25 NBA season.
Kenny Smith said that fans constantly ask him what will happen with the marquee show. While speaking to USA Today in August , he compared the show to LeBron James' free agency.
"For me I just feel like we're like LeBron James in his free agent year like we're gonna have to do this press thing and go we're taking our talents too because I think we've become part of the fabric of the NBA where people listen to the voice of the NBA through us and the heartbeat of the NBA through us. ...
"Now we have a lot of say on who's going to be part of something if we continue it together."
Smith said that the show has transcended the game of basketball and has talked about different issues. They have a large fanbase that will support them wherever they go, but it remains to be seen if those four can remain together beyond 2025.
