#2 Isaiah Briscoe
After playing two seasons of college basketball for the Kentucky Wildcats, Isaiah Briscoe went undrafted in the 2017 NBA Draft. The point guard was subsequently signed by the Portland Trail Blazers but was released following six pre-season appearances. Nevertheless, Briscoe headed to Estonia with BC Kalev and was named Young Player of the Year after averaging 18.5 points, 3.4 rebounds, 4.2 assists, and 1.6 steals during an excellent season.
Briscoe's form was enough for the Orlando Magic to sign him ahead of last season, and the 23-year-old averaged 3.5 points, 2.2 assists, and 1.9 rebounds over 39 appearances before being waived in April. While not huge numbers, Briscoe's hustle at both ends of the court impressed many at Amway Center, and he is still young enough to develop the technical aspects of his game. Briscoe is unlikely to be signed ahead of the new campaign but could add depth in the event of an injury.
