The leading scorer for the Grizzlies was Wayne Selden. Selden scored 18 points and was one of three players to score in double figures. As a team, the Grizzlies shot 39 percent from the field and 22 percent from deep. The Hornets shot 55 percent and 48 percent in the same categories.
The Grizzlies struggled in this game, and the Hornets took advantage. They went on to win by a significant margin and went on to win their next two games. Now, they have the biggest win in the past 10 years.
