Nowitzki always did the unthinkable. His 2011 run to the NBA championship with the Dallas Mavericks could be a great example of that. The German had 48 30-point games in which he shot on a 50/50/100 split. He ended his career as the highest-scoring foreign player in the NBA.
#2 Larry Bird - 51 games
Larry Bird is probably among the top five players on the all-time list in the eyes of several NBA fans. He was a sensation throughout his active years as a player in the NBA.
The former Boston Celtics forward averaged below 20 points per game in just two of his 13 seasons in the NBA. It speaks volumes of how consistent he was during his time in the league.
He won three consecutive MVP awards and three NBA championships as a player. Bird also made 10 All-NBA teams in his 13 seasons in the league. He was the first player to record multiple 50-40-90 seasons in NBA history. It is indeed a rare achievement for a forward.
These records barely make it look surprising for fans to see Bird ranked second on this list. He had 51 games in his career during which he scored at least 30 points on 50/50/100 shooting splits.
#1 Stephen Curry - 79 games
Stephen Curry is widely regarded as the best shooter in NBA history. Him topping this list only strengthens that perspective of him. The two-time MVP has had a record 79 30-point games on 50/50/100 shooting splits in his career, the most in the NBA.
Curry's ability to shoot the ball with unreal efficiency from the long-range makes him a lethal offensive player, one of the best in the NBA right now. The Golden State Warriors talisman has also been one of the best free-throw shooters of all time.
He is among the nine players in the NBA to have a 50/40/90 season. Curry has only improved his craft with each passing season. So it won't be surprising to see him record many more games in which he ends up shooting on a 50/50/100 split.
