#2 Danny Green says the Lakers are not worried about the Clippers

Danny Green is not focusing on the Los Angeles Clippers

The Los Angeles Lakers enter the new season among the favorites, although many analysts around the NBA have argued that the Los Angeles Clippers are the best team in the city. Nevertheless, Danny Green told Wosny Lambre of The Athletic that he and his Laker teammates are focusing on their own game rather than worrying about the Clippers:

We’re not worried about anybody but us. We feel like we have what we need and if we do things the right way like we’re supposed to, we feel like the only team that can beat us is us. So we just need to stay healthy and do things the right way. But they (Clippers) obviously have a good team, as well as some other teams in the West.

Green signed a two year, $30 million contract with the Lakers earlier this summer after starring for the Toronto Raptors during the 2019 NBA Finals.
