Andre Iguodala attracting interest from five teams

In one of the more surprising moves of the offseason, the Golden State Warriors decided to trade Andre Iguodala in order to free up enough salary-cap to complete a sign and trade for D'Angelo Russell.

At 35, Iguodala's career is winding down, and the 2015 Finals MVP is uninterested in spending the upcoming season with an out of contention Grizzlies team. Due to this, Iguodala is likely to be waived or traded, and Marc Stein of the New York Times is reporting that the Lakers are among the five interested teams.

Iguodala is coming off an injury-hit season, although the veteran recovered to perform well during the Warriors' run to the NBA Finals. Over 21 playoff appearances, Iguodala averaged 9.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 4.0 assists per game, while shooting almost 50% from the field.
