Bradley Beal remains committed to the Wizards but won't sign a new contract

Bradley Beal is coming off the best season of his career, and the 26-year-old is eligible to sign a three-year extension worth $112 million. However, Chris Crouse is reporting that Beal will snub a new deal this summer, in favor of deciding his long-term future next year:

While Beal is grateful for the chance to ink that lucrative of an extension, he may be eligible for a larger, super-max deal next summer (if he makes an All-NBA team) and the year will give him an opportunity to evaluate the long-term strategy of the franchise.

If named to an All-NBA team, Beal will be eligible to sign a max deal. The shooting guard has also attracted interest from the likes of the Miami Heat, Los Angeles Lakers, and Detroit Pistons.
