Bradley Beal's future in Washington remains uncertain
Earlier this month, the Washington Wizards offered Bradley Beal a three-year, $111 million maximum contract extension. The two-time All-Star has yet to respond to Washington's offer, although Hoops Rumors is reporting that Beal could still remain with the franchise:
It’s easy to point to the Wizards’ 2018/19 record and unfavorable cap situation and surmise that Beal is eager to leave D.C., but that’s not necessarily the case. He has said he wants to assess the team’s new management group,, before making any decisions.

During the 18-19 season, Beal averaged 25.6 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 5.5 assists per game - although the Wizards finished well outside the playoff places. Beal has been heavily linked with a move to the Heat, and the 26-year-old revealed earlier this month that he would consider a move to Miami when he hits free agency in 2021.
