Over the past week, multiple reports have suggested that Carmelo Anthony could link up with the New Zealand Breakers of Australia's NBL. However, Adam Zagoria is reporting that the General Manager of the National Basketball League has ruled out the prospect of Melo heading to the Australian league:

Anthony is a 10-time All-Star, although he hasn't played since November. Melo's stint with the Houston Rockets lasted just 10 games, as the team deemed his defensive skills inadequate. This setback came after a disappointing 17/18 season with the Oklahoma City Thunder, although the 35-year-old is believed to be still keen on a return to the NBA.
