#2 The Splash Brothers come to life... sort of

The Golden State Warriors were not in the best of form coming into Game 5, with the series tied at 2-2 and were largely carried by Kevin Durant.

With Steph Curry and Klay Thompson completely out of form in this series, people were hoping that the Splash brothers would finally break out of their slump and they did, sort of.

Klay Thompson had a superb start to the game and was shooting really efficiently in the first quarter, and led the Warriors to a 18 point lead at half time.
Thompson though, could not keep his night going and ended up with a team high 27 points, shooting 50% from the field including a key layup to finish the game.
Curry did not have a great game, but still managed to score a solid 25 points tonight. He shot just 39% from the field and his 3 point shooting woes continued, shooting under 30% tonight.
The Warriors travel to Houston for Game 6 and will really need Curry and Thompson to come back to form if they want to bury the series here and now.
