He is indeed the best prospect for ROTY this year and he has been proving this sincerely. He has averaged 25.5 points, 8.5 assists, 9.5 rebounds in the last 4 games that the Mavs played this week.

Dallas stand at a shabby 12th position in the Western Conference but Doncic is a silver lining for them and will be looking to aim for a playoff spot in the season that remains.

#2 Trae Young, Atlanta Hawks

Trae Young has put up numbers worth noticing but he lacks the consistency in scoring which he will definitely gain as he matures as a player.

For a guard, 29% 3-pointer conversion percentage is troublesome, Young leads the NBA rookies in assists with 7.3 assists per game.

#3 Marvin Bagley III, Sacramento Kings

Bagley returned after injury in early January after missing 11 games. Since his return, the No. 2 pick has scored in double digits in six of the eight games, averaging 12.8 points and 7.4 rebounds while shooting 50 percent from the floor.

The youngster is making his case and it will be interesting to see how he steps up at playing even bigger roles for their teams in the near future.
