#2 Kyrie Irving

The Celtics remain open to signing Kyrie Irving to a new long-term deal this summer, although the 27-year-old's future appears to be away from Boston.

Irving has continually refused to commit his future to the team he joined in 2017, and during a recent edition of The Herd Podcast, NBA analyst Colin Cowherd explained the current situation:

I’d be surprised if he stays in Boston. You see his body language. You hear enough smoke, you know there’s something going on here. Obviously, Kyrie’s kinda moody, he’s got a tight inner circle. But again, I don’t expect him to be in Boston. You could see it in the locker room and with his teammates, that they almost don’t know how to take to Kyrie Irving.
The Brooklyn Nets are the favorites to land Irving during free agency, although the Los Angeles Lakers and New York Knicks are also believed to in contention.
