#2 Patrick Patterson
Ahead of free agency, Patrick Patterson opted into the final year of his deal with the Oklahoma City Thunder. Despite disappointing during his time with the organization, Patterson was willing to return on his contract worth almost $6 million but soon changed his mind following the departures of George and Westbrook. Patterson left $3.7 million on the table to exit the franchise and early reports suggested that he would once again link up with George in Los Angeles.
While a deal has yet to materialize almost two weeks later, a move to the Clippers still makes a lot of sense for Patterson. The LA roster has lost plenty of depth this summer, and the veteran proved during his stint in Toronto that he can contribute as both a starter and reserve. A one-year minimum salary should be enough to convince the 30-year-old, and Patterson himself will be keen to prove that his spell with the Thunder was nothing more than a blip.
