It's been a while since we shared an update on the 2022-23 NBA Sixth Man of the Year race, but don't worry, we've got you. There have been incredible players who have played their best basketball this season as part of their team's sparkplug off the bench, and we're here to assess their production.
With Russell Westbrook getting traded by the LA Lakers last week, it's better not to include him despite his excellent play off the bench. Still, there are valid candidates who have a shot at being the winner of the 2022-23 NBA Sixth Man of the Year award.

#5 Bogdan Bogdanovic

Bogdan Bogdanovic took a backseat this season to accommodate the arrival of Dejounte Murray.
Despite being demoted to a bench role, he's still able to put up similar numbers from last season when he was a starter and has a shot at winning the NBA Sixth Man of the Year award.

Winning the NBA SixthMan of the Year award could be possible for Tyrese Maxey this season. He's been playing incredible basketball for the Philadelphia 76ers, making him one of the favorites to win the award.
However, he did start 22 games this season, and that could hurt his case.
