After finding himself fourth on the Sixth Man of the Year power rankings last week, Montrezl Harrell has moved up a spot this week. The Washington Wizards forward continues to be absolutely sensational with his play so far this year. Harrell has started to look like the player of old. He's been making an impact for the Wizards with his energy and rebounding ability on a nightly basis.
Harrell's play has been a big reason why the Washington Wizards have been one of the pleasant surprises of the 2021-22 NBA season so far. In just his last week, Harrell went on to average 20.0 points, 11.3 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game. If the energetic forward can keep up this type of production, he's going to become a serious candidate for the Sixth Man of the Year award.
#2 Jordan Clarkson

While it hasn't been the most efficient start to the 2021-22 NBA season for Jordan Clarkson, the defending Sixth Man of the Year still managed to put up some impressive performances. One of the most dangerous scoring options off the bench in the entire league, it seems as if it's only a matter of time before Clarkson starts to catch fire.
Clarkson struggled last week when it came to shooting the ball, but the Utah Jazz still went on to post a 3-1 record. They currently find themselves as one of the top teams in the Western Conference with a 7-1 record on the season. Clarkson recently caught fire in a big way after putting up a 30-point performance last night against the Atlanta Hawks. For a scorer like Clarkson, all it takes is one game to start putting together an impressive stretch of games.

There's no denying that the basketball world has been buzzing about the play of Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro. The 21-year-old guard has been on a mission so far this year, and has even recently stated that he wants to win both the Sixth Man of the Year and Most Improved Player awards. So far, Herro is putting up historic numbers. He recently just set the record for most points off the bench through the first seven games in NBA history.
Herro continued to shine in his third year in the NBA. On the year he's currently averaging 20.4 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 4.0 assists per game. Herro has quickly become the heavy favorite to win the Sixth Man of the Year award, especially if the Miami Heat continue to impress with their play throughout the regular season. He's going to be a tough one to knock off the first overall spot on the Sixth Man of the Year power rankings.
