Washington, Jan 9 (IANS) Tony Parker scored 25 points with seven assists to help the San Antonio Spurs beat the Dallas Mavericks 112-90 in the National Basketball Association (NBA) league.

Veteran power forward Tim Duncan added 16 points and 13 rebounds for the Spurs in a game played Wednesday. Marco Belinelli had 17 points from the bench.
Dallas best-scorer Dirk Nowitzki struggled all through the game under the strong defence of Boris Diaw. He made three out of his 14 attempts to get eight points.
Monta Ellis led the Mavs with 21 points. Vince Carter had 14 from the bench.
