#2 Steven Adams

Steven Adams has been tipped as a future All-Star since breaking out during the 2016 postseason. While that has yet to happen, Adams has continued to improve over the past three seasons, and last year averaged career highs in points (13.9) and rebounds (9.5). However, without Russell Westbrook and Paul George in Oklahoma City, Adams looks set to waste his prime years with an organization that faces a longterm rebuild.

Adams is owed $52.5 million over the next two seasons, and while not a cheap option, the 26-year-old should have no trouble at finding interest from around the NBA. The Boston Celtics have been linked with a move, and the Miami Heat could also be an option after the team finally parted with Hassan Whiteside.

Everything seemed set for Adams to develop into an All-Star with the Thunder, although following a summer of change, it is best for the New Zealander to move on.
