He shined in his rookie season with 5 30+ points and 10+ assists games ( only LeBron and Wade had more) and had his first triple double with 36 points, 13 assists and 10 rebounds which included 7-11 shooting.

He played at the rookie-sophomore game and finished second behind Paul Pierce in the Three Point shooting contest at the All Star weekend. He finished second in the NBA rookie of the year behind Tyreke Evans and won the NBA Taco Bell Skills challenge at the 2011 All Star weekend beating Westbrook.

Curry’s three point shooting is a big asset and a weapon. He averages 44.5% for his career in three’s made and this season broke the record for most three’s in a season with 272. He holds the franchise record for most three’s in a game of 11 this season. He was also the leader in free throw percentage in the league for the 2011-2012 season. He scored his career high of 54 points in a losing effort at the Garden.

He led his team to their first playoffs since he joined the team and led them past the Nuggets to the second round. He holds the record for most number of three pointers made in the first four playoffs games of any player’s career with 18.
