#2 Channing Frye
Channing Frye first represented the Cavaliers between 2016 and 2018, although the team traded him away to the Los Angeles Lakers during the 2018 trade deadline, in the deal that also took Isaiah Thomson to Los Angeles. Nevertheless, after playing just nine games in the famous purple and gold, Frye rejoined the Cavs on a one-year deal last summer.
The deal looked to be a good one at the time, however, the Cavs have since looked to youth due to their disastrous start to the season. Due to this, Frye has played in just 21 games and is averaging less than 10 minutes per night.

In his limited time on the court, the 35-year-old has demonstrated that he can still have an impact, and the Rockets would be able to acquire Frye for little in return. The veterans versatility to play at both center and power forward would also benefit Houston, so a Rockets move for Frye makes sense.
