The 29-year-old averaged 18.2 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game over 55 regular season games and the Sixers are believed to be keen to tie him to a new long term deal this summer.

Butler has continued to perform well in the playoffs, although Philadelphia look set for an early exit at the hands of the Toronto Raptors. Butler will turn 30 this summer, and many view this as his final chance to secure a max deal.
