#1 Stay in Minnesota

Derrick Rose has finally found a team where he is playing regularly, and the 30-year-old finally looks happy to be playing basketball, after years of injury woes and personal issues. The absence of Jimmy Butler has been a blessing for the 2011 MVP, and instead of putting pressure on his manager to start him, Butler is embracing his role from the bench.

Tom Thibodeau is willing to start Rose when it benefits the team, although he is aware that his point guard is proving more effective from the bench, and Rose is still averaging nearly 30 minutes per game. While the Timberwolves are unlikely to be able to compete for an NBA Championship, they are likely to be in the playoff hunt as long as they keep hold of Karl-Anthony Towns, so staying in Minnesota seems like the perfect place for the next few years of Rose's career.
