#1 Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (LA Lakers)

When Kentavious Caldwell-Pope was traded to Los Angeles back in 2017, the Lakers believed that the shooting guard could become an important player on the roster.

During Caldwell-Pope's first season in a Lakers uniform, the shooting guard was a regular starter and averaged 13.4 points and 5.2 rebounds per game.

Just days after LeBron James' arrival, Caldwell-Pope signed a new one-year contract with the Lakers worth $12 million, and the timing of the deal hinted that KCP would continue to play a major role on the team.
Despite this, the 25-year-old has made just four starts this season and is averaging just 23 minutes per game.
The Houston Rockets have reportedly made the former Pistons man their primary trade target, and teams such as the Oklahoma City Thunder and New Orleans Pelicans have also been linked with a trade.
Ultimately, the Lakers will be willing to trade the 25-year-old as soon as they have lined up a replacement.
