Terry Rozier is currently in a difficult situation with the Boston Celtics. Rozier is a starting caliber point guard, who has impressed whenever he has got onto the court, although the Celtics are currently attempting to convince Kyrie Irving to sign a new max contract. If an extension is agreed upon, Rozier's path to the Celtics starting lineup would be permanently blocked, and Rozier himself has stated in the past that he has no desire to be a bench player.

This means that Rozier may become available for a trade. While he could be available before the trade deadline, a summer move is much more likely as the Celtics will be looking to offload talent in order to make an offer for Anthony Davis. Rozier himself is still just 24, and despite the fact that he is still developing, he would offer a major upgrade on the Knicks current point guard options.
